breakfast in Nashville, TNThere is nothing like a good breakfast whether you prefer eggs, pancakes, or a combination of both. In Nashville, there are many places where you can get breakfast almost any time of day. Here are some of the best.

Biscuit Love

Biscuit Love was a popular food truck that started in 2012. Because owners Karl and Sarah Worley has such a strong following, they decided to open a brick-and-mortar location in the Gulch neighborhood of Nashville. The menu features 100% homemade biscuits combined with classic Southern comfort food. Make sure to try the Princess, a hot chicken sandwich made with a delicious biscuit and topped with a drizzle of honey. You should also make sure to try the Bonuts, a cross between a donut and a biscuit. These are incredible and something you just can’t get anywhere else.

Sun Diner

Head to the SoBro area of Nashville and Sun Diner for everything from your favorite breakfast classics to burgers and more. This 24-hour diner is always hopping, and you can satisfy your craving for pancakes or eggs no matter what time of day or night. Make sure to try the Banana’s Foster’s pancakes or the breakfast tacos if you want something different. This place also has a fantastic Feelin Good breakfast burger, complete with an Angus beef steak burger topped with an egg, and then topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and a pickle.

The Red Bicycle

Head to the Red Bicycle in Germantown for coffee and crepes for breakfast. Try the sunrise crepe which comes with eggs, cheese, and your choice of meat, or the Florentine which comes with egg, cheese, mushrooms, and spinach. You can also get the mexi, featuring manchego cheese along with the eggs, and it also comes with chorizo, salsa, and sour cream.

If you want something on the sweet side, this place also has a wonderful cinnamon roll crepe, a Nutella crepe, and the funky monkey which comes with peanut butter, banana, Nutella, and walnuts. The Red Bicycle also serves delicious coffee to go with their crepes whether you have a sweet or savory concoction.

Pinewood Social

Pinewood Social is a great place to get breakfast during the week. This restaurant serves some menu items you can’t really get anywhere else such as the eggs in a jar, breakfast tacos, or braised short rib. You can also enjoy The Graceland waffles with peanut butter, mousse, banana and bacon, or the chicken and biscuits which comes with fried chicken, sausage gravy, and hash browns.

Pinewood Social is much more than just breakfast. It has six reclaimed-wood bowling lanes, and an outdoor patio space with pools to cool off in, along with a 30-foot Airstream camper. The pool and patio area has its own menu with some different items than what the chef serves inside.

The next time you crave a big, delicious breakfast or even something light to start your day, try one of these Nashville area restaurants.
