Welcome to Fall Car Care Month at Wyatt Johnson Ford! The Quintessential Fall Car Care Month Checklist Fall is the perfect time to start checking up on your car. The weather isn’t entirely too cold yet, the Holidays are still a ways off, and you aren’t facing any severe weather conditions. The autumn season is prime for getting out in the garage or bringing your car to our service centers to get everything checked out before the real test of your car’s performance comes. Now you may be asking yourself, why is it important to check up on your car before winter? Well, dealing with car problems when it’s cold out is just not a great time. And we want you to always have a good time driving your Ford. And while these tips may seem like common sense, you’d be surprised just how often these can fly under the radar and end up causing much more serious problems down the line. 15 Tips to Prepare Your Car For Winter Checking and Refilling Fluids: All of your fluids play a crucial role in keeping your Ford performing at its absolute best, and during the cooler months you don’t need anything less. Taking a look at your oil, power steering fluid, brake fluid, and transmission fluid and refilling or changing any that need it is a great way to prepare your car for the winter months ahead. Also, checking your antifreeze/coolant is an absolute must, as that will keep your engine from getting too cold should the temps drop. Change the Oil and Filters: While we’re on the topic of fluids, your oil is a big one that you should be up to date on. Ignoring an oil change, especially in winter is not a great idea. 2021 Ford Explorer The mere term “Explorer” is meant to denote a free living individual who loves to roam around and discover new things such as places, cultures, and more. Excitement and adventure are integral components of such individuals, and American manufacturer targets the Ford Explorer at them. 2021 Ford F-150 The F-150 has been Ford’s most popular vehicle for the last 43 years or more, and there are absolutely no signs of letting up, seeing the 2021 model. While travelling, it keeps its occupants wrapped in a cocoon of absolute comfort and safety. Need we say more? Exterior Appearance: The 2021 Ford F-150 is a completely new model as compared to its previous versions, with several exciting features on the outside and inside. LED headlamps and LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) were available on this vehicle earlier, but they can now be seen in new shapes and fitments. It would not be a far cry to compare them with GMC. The DRLs surround the LED headlamps in a gorgeous manner, and though style is subjective, this is likely to appeal to most. For those who have not liked the appearance of chrome on cars, here’s good news. There is no chrome on the sides of the 2021 Ford F-150 XLT. This gives an overall clean appearance to the SUV. Tow hooks can be seen at the bottom of the front bumper. A flat black front grille is the new grille for 2021, which gives the vehicle a rugged look. The XLT comes with color-matched door handles on the sides. It is easy to step into the vehicle using the running board on the side. Trims Available: Customers get six trims and five engine options on this vehicle. The names of the trim levels are as follows: XLT Lariat XL Platinum King Ranch Limited Engines and Performance: Starting from an initial capacity of 2.7 liters, the engine capacity goes all the way till 5 liters. Two twins turbocharged V6 options are available, one of which is attached to a hybrid system. The 2.7 liter twin turbocharged V6 engine generates 325 hp of maximum power. There is also a 3.3 liter V6 option which generates lesser power (290 hp). A single diesel option has been provided, which is a 3.0 liter V6, capable of belting out 250 hp. The largest engine here is a 5.0 liter V8, churning out 400 hp of peak power. Interestingly, a 3.5 liter V6 is attached to a 35 kW electric motor, generating 400 hp of power. This motor can also run an onboard generator that can be used at job sites. All vehicles are available in 4WD (4 Wheel Drive) and RWD (Rear Wheel Drive) options. Interior Appearance: Space is written all over on the insides of this massive truck. Maximum Recline Seats are present in the King Ranch variant. Premium materials are seen all around the cabin, and more storage cubbies are available. A workspace can be made by folding the 10-shift automatic gear lever. Rear beds have also been improved. The entry level XL comes with an 8.0-inch dash-mounted display. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also available here. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is one of the most popular attractions for Nashville visitors and locals. No matter if you are a die-hard country fan or just someone who enjoys learning more about artists who have shaped American music. you will find something you can enjoy at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Exhibits There are many exhibits to take in on your visit, including some permanent displays and others traveling exhibits. " Sing Me Back Home " is one of the museum's most popular permanent exhibits and provides a historical timeline of the emergence of the country scene going back to its early roots. You can find vintage audio recordings and photographs that show the influencers who have shaped country music. While there are multiple exhibits that will come through the museum throughout the year, some of the recent ones included an exhibit dedicated to Blake Shelton and one to Dierks Bentley. Shelton's exhibit takes you through his upbringing in Oklahoma through to his dramatic rise to stardom, featuring artifacts, photographs, and memorabilia. Bentley's display includes some of the singer's guitars, stage costumes, song lyrics, and much more. Activities and Programs There is more than just exhibit viewing at the museum. You can take part in songwriter sessions, where you can enjoy some live performances in a small group setting. These sessions take place on Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. providing for a question and answer period after the session. You can also enjoy various instrument demonstrations, which occur on Sundays at 1 p.m. You can learn about the various musical instruments some of your favorite country musicians use and also learn about some of the more common musical techniques. If you are looking for a fun and educational program for your children to take advantage of, you can sign them up for one of the many hands-on programs that the museum has to offer. During these youth programs, your children will have the ability to interact with artists, educators, and even professional musicians. They can take part in workshops where they can learn to play the guitar, country music dancing, and even try their hand at songwriting. You can find out what programs are available each weekend at the Taylor Swift Education Center. Shopping and Dining Before you head home, make sure to stop by the museum store between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. to pick up some merchandise.
