Wyatt Johnson Ford food bank charityAs the population grows in Middle Tennessee, so does the number of struggling families in the community. According to Feeding America, a parent organization of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, 141,710 children are food insecure in America, and counting.

This inspired Brock Patterson, Wyatt Johnson Ford’s Specialty Vehicle Manager, to step up and donate 25,000 meals to families and individuals in need in the Nashville, TN area.

“Because of [Wyatt Johnson Ford’s] commitment to supporting Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, struggling seniors, veterans, children, and families in our community will receive healthy food and hope,” says Taylor Loyal, Donor Relationship Manager.

For every vehicle at Wyatt Johnson Ford that Brock sells in 2018, a donation of $50 or 200 meals will be made to the food bank.

Each month, Taylor will meet Brock for a check presentation at Wyatt Johnson Ford.

Since 1978, Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee has been providing solutions for hunger issues in the Nashville area. In the past two years alone, the organization distributed more than 32 million pounds of food.
