Nashville TV show Nashville, TN“Nashville” is a popular musical drama that follows the life of country-music stars. Many of the scenes filmed in this highly-rated show took place right in Nashville, Tennessee. These are just a few of the “Nashville” sights you can actually visit today.

Crazy Town

Crazy Town is a three-story entertainment district in the heart of downtown Nashville. It features six bars, three live music stages, and wonderful views of the historic Broadway street. Crazy Town is well-known for hosting some of the biggest upcoming names in country and for serving an authentic Nashville menu. Chris Carmack plays Will Lexington, an aspiring Nashville star on the “Nashville” TV show. One of his first performances in season 5 takes place at the iconic Crazy Town location.

5 Points

5 Points is a neighborhood in eastern Nashville and is often compared to New York’s east village. The 5 Points district gets its popular name from the five streets that run together to create this entertaining area. It includes local eateries, trendy bars, and live music venues. It is also a common hangout place for successful country musicians and songwriters. You can catch snippets of 5 Points in the “Nashville” TV show in season five as Clayton Carter, a street musician, often plays here.

Bluebird Cafe

Bluebird Cafe is recognized around the world as a venue that hosts songwriters’ top hits. It is an intimate venue with only 90 seats, but has hosted some of the best country musicians and songwriters in the industry. The Bluebird is considered an experience, rather than a show. The listening room has an open mic environment with a “shh” policy. Guests are expected to keep communication to a minimum and to immerse themselves in the listening experience.

The Bluebird Cafe is a crucial destination in the “Nashville” TV show. You can view the cafe multiple times throughout “Nashville” seasons as most of the stars perform here at least once. This is also where the main character, Gunnar, pushes Scarlett to pursue her music.

Grand Ole Opry

The Grand Ole Opry has been a significant staple in Nashville for over 85 years. It draws both musicians and music enthusiasts from all over the world. It honors the country music history and current country icons every day. It often is known as country’s most famous stage. Of course, this iconic music venue is portrayed in the “Nashville” TV series numerous times. It is used as the performance venue of many of the main cast members.

Lower Broadway

Lower Broadway is in the downtown portion of Nashville, Tennessee. It is a historic district that holds many local country music businesses. It includes an art walk section, shopping attractions, country music museums, and a wide variety of dining choices. You can view the Lower Broadway street many times throughout the history of the “Nashville” show. A few of the scenes were actually filmed in some of the locations on the street, including Rippy’s and Tequila Cowboy.
