The 2018 Ford F-150 King Ranch has many new features that Ford lovers will enjoy. From having more power than previous years to always being connected while you’re driving, here are just a few reasons to check out this new truck.
Premium Audio System
The F-150 is the first Ford vehicle to have a premium B&O PLAY audio system with an AM/FM stereo, 10 speakers, and an MP3 and CD player. There are specifically placed tailored tuning, speaker placement, and calibration. You’ll love the way your favorite song sounds as you drive around town.
More Power
The new Ford F-150 has more muscle than ever before and also features a best-in-class payload. The truck has 400 pound-feet of torque and 395 horsepower due to the new direct-injection and twin independent variable cam timing. The Ti-VCT makes sure the performance is optimized and matches what the driving conditions are. There’s also a package available for CNG/Propane Gaseous Engine Prep so conversion can happen for propane autogas or compressed natural gas. A Snow Plow Prep package is also offered for those who drive in snow often.
Stay Connected
There are many ways to stay connected in the Ford F-150 King Ranch. The SYNC Connect with WiFi hotspot lets you have your own WiFi hotspot inside for your passengers to enjoy. Up to 10 different devices can use it at once, and the FordPass app lets you keep an eye on how much data you’ve used. You can even start your vehicle from your phone, lock and unlock it, and see how much gas you have left. SYNC 3 lets you use voice commands to control parts of the system, such as answering calls or getting directions.
Keep Your Passengers Safe
The F-150 has a rearview camera with a dynamic hitch assist. This means that not only are there lines on the side to show you when and where to turn, but you can also see the angle that your truck needs to turn to get the hitch on correctly. It’s never been easier to hook your truck up to a boat or trailer. If you accidentally take a turn too sharply or swerve suddenly, Roll Stability Control kicks in by automatically decreasing the engine power and applying the brakes to make sure all four wheels stay on the ground.
Drive in Style
The F-150 has a two-tone paint treatment and accent colors on the front and back bumper. The grilled is a chrome two-bar style that has a caribou mesh insert and chrome surround. The side mirrors have turn signals integrated into them and are heated, so you don’t have to worry about them fogging up when you’re trying to see. The truck also has LED fog lamps and LED mirror-mounted spotlights.
