Located in Summertown, Wheelin’ in the Country has over 700 acres of land with trails of all levels of difficulty. From ravines and rock gardens to smaller hills and gullies, you can take your 4×4 anywhere you like on this vast, privately-owned property. Wheelin’ in the Country hosts special events for holidays throughout the year, celebrated with extra park days and other surprises. Overnight visitors can take advantage of primitive campsites, full RV-hookups, or cabin rentals. Find Wheelin’ in the Country at 128 Anderson Creek Road. Open weekends vary, so check the park calendar for available ride dates.
Windrock Park
More than 72,000 acres of off-road trail riding, windmill touring, and nature hiking awaits you at Windrock Park. You can even get in a little target practice at the Windrock Shooting Range or practice your remote-control driving skills at the Tanner Ridge R/C Park. Of course, the main attraction is the vast array of trails, which range from easy to most difficult. Trails are clearly marked, and some are restricted to dirt bikes and ATVs only. Overnight guests can utilize the park’s primitive campsites, cabins, or RV sites. Located at 912 Windrock Road, the park is open 365 days a year.
The Ford Ranger Raptor: The Perfect Truck for Off-Roading Adventure
The 2018 Ford Ranger Raptor is specially designed for high-speed off-roading action on almost any terrain. Its two-turbo 2-liter diesel engine delivers 210 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque for quick, responsive power. It runs a 10-speed paddle-shift gearbox so drivers can take over shifting whenever they want.
